ABOUT US

WISE SNDTWU INCUBATION CENTRE, a Section 8 Company hosted by SNDT Women’s University a 109-year-old pioneering institution with 400+ affiliated colleges and 85,000+ women students—is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among women. Funded by MSInS, SISFS and SIDBI, WISE provides a robust ecosystem featuring networking platforms, expert mentorship, co-working spaces, investment opportunities, curated events, pre-incubation support and industry collaborations.

With a strong focus on women-led startups (requiring at least 30% women representation from across India), WISE empowers founders to transform ideas into scalable ventures by addressing gender-specific barriers. Since its inception, the centre has successfully incubated startups across diverse sectors, driving job creation, economic growth and equitable participation in India’s startup landscape. Initiatives like Ideathon further ignite problem-solving mindsets, aligning with national missions such as Startup India and Make in India.

CEO, WISE SNDTWU Incubation Centre

Dr. Divya Rathod

Dr. Divya Rathod is a microbiologist and visionary entrepreneur behind SilveryNanos Innovations, which developed “Hapito”—a nanotech spray enhancing toilet hygiene and conserving water. Inspired by her own health struggles, she champions women’s sanitation solutions. As CEO of WISE at SNDT Women’s University, she mentors over 70,000 women and drives change through innovation and advocacy. Recognized by the UN, BIRAC, and NITI Aayog, Dr. Rathod continues to lead initiatives that make hygiene a human right across India.

Deputy Manager

Ms. Himani Jaiswal

Himani Jaiswal is the Manager of the WISE Incubation Centre at SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai. Rising from trainee to leader within a year, she now leads program design and partnerships—spearheading initiatives like “SheExports Season 2” and MOUs with Chanakya AI. Himani excels in innovation ecosystem building, incubator strategy, and financial sustainability, driving growth in health-tech, women entrepreneurship, and social impact sectors.
